The original photo that inspired this piece was taken in Florence, italy. As we saw this lady, her beauty and calmness captured us so we took this wonderful photo of her. Ironically, the original color of her scarf was blue just as seen in the art piece. Blue can symbolize calmness, serenity, peace and comfort, emotions that we hope are conveyed to the viewer as they gaze at this art.
